I am a Helsinki-based mixed media artist specializing in eggshell mosaic.

Each artwork is made by hand, one fragment at a time. Using eggshells alongside other materials, I create mosaic paintings through a slow and careful process.

I am inspired by the contrast between the fragility of the shell and the permanence of the finished piece. What begins as an everyday material becomes something new through patience, precision, and time.

Sketch

I start with a drawing and plan the colours for the piece.

Colouring the Shells

The eggshells are dyed by hand in the shades needed for the design.

Placing Every Fragment

Each piece of shell is broken, selected, and glued by hand. This is the longest part of the process.
